A Commentary on the Baima People Research over the Past Three Decades

近30年来的白马人研究,重点聚焦在白马人的概念、族属、族缘等问题的探讨上,在白马人宗教信仰特征、语言、歌舞形式的调查研究以及对白马人社会变迁、文化、心理的研究等方面成绩突出,不足主要表现在理论探讨突破不够而实证性研究仍嫌薄弱。

Over the past 30 years, the Baima People research was mainly focused on such questions as the concept, clanship, clan origin of Baima People. And great achievements have been made in religious belief, language, form of singing and dancing, and social changes and culture and psycho of the Baima People. However, there are still some weaknesses： no major breakthrough in theory and weak empirical study.
