Tannins Content Determination of Polygonum chinense L.from Different Growing Areas

[目的]测定不同产地火炭母药材总鞣质的含量,建立紫外分光光度法测定火炭母总鞣质的方法。[方法]采用紫外分光光度法,以没食子酸为对照品,测定火炭母总鞣质的含量。[结果]不同产地火炭母药材样品中总鞣质含量为1.86%～3.96%。[结论]紫外分光光度法测火炭母总鞣质含量,方法简便、可靠,可用于火炭母的质量控制,利于其深度开发利用。

[ Objective ] The aim was to determine the tannins content of Polygonum chinense L. from different growing areas and establish UV spectrophotometry method to determine the tannins. [ Method] With gallic acid as control substance, UV spectrophotometry was adopted to determinate the tannins content. [ Result] The content of tannins in the samples was 1.86% - 3.96%. [ Conclusion] The method is simple and reliable, and could be used to control the quality of P. chinense L.
