多曲方丝弓技术矫治前牙开[牙合]（附11例报告）

Treatment of anterior open - Bite using multiloop edgewise archwire technique （ report of 11 cases）

目的探讨多曲方丝弓技术矫治前牙开[牙合]作用机制，总结操作要领及注意事项。方法多曲方丝弓技术矫治前牙开[牙合]患者11例，男5例，女6例，年龄14～28岁，治疗前后进行X线头影测量分析比较。结果11例前牙开[牙合]患者疗效满意，1例有轻微复发，为前牙对刃关系，10例开[牙合]患者全部予以矫正。结论多曲方丝弓技术可以有效竖直后牙，改善牙齿三维方向的位置，快速矫治前牙开[牙合]，疗效好、适应证广，值得临床推广。

Objective To investigate the mechanism of multiloop edgewise archwire （MEAW） technique for treatment of anterior open bite, operation essentials and matters needing attention. Methods Eleven patients with anterior open bite were given MEAW, five cases of male, six females, ld - 28 years old. Data of X cephalometry pre - and post - treatment were analyzed. Results All of 11 patients with anterior open bite had satisfied treatment. One case with relationship between anterior teeth on edge had a slight relapse. All of 10 cases with open bite were corrected. Conclusions MEAW technique can effectively erect posterior teeth, to improve the direction of three - dimensional position of the teeth, and rapidly correct anterior open bite. It is worth to be popularized with the advantage of good efficacy and wide application.
