奥林匹克运动由于与政治具有相同的文化渊源,其运动自身的特点及其发展虽力图超脱于政治但又始终无法摆脱政治的影响。奥林匹克运动与政治之间的关系是互动的。奥林匹克运动的基本原则从创建之日起就受到实践的挑战,它的发展历程更是表明政治是无所不在的。在受政治制约的同时,奥林匹克运动也可以主动介入政治,在客观上对政治产生一定的反作用。应当力争构建奥运与政治的良性关系,尊重历史,面对未来,采取更加现实的态度,奥林匹克才能更顺畅地走向未来。

Both the Olympics and politics belong to the superstructure, so the development of the Olympics is always influenced by politics though it always tries to get rid of it. They are interacted. The Olympic principles have been challenged from the very beginning. The history of this sport shows clearly that politics is always there. The Olympics can also act against the politics though it is to some extent subject to political constraits. What we should do is to build up a harmonious relation between the Olympics and politics. We should respect the history and be future- oriented so that the Olympics may develop smoothly.
