摘要
评述用补偿膜改善ＬＣＤ，特别是ＴＮＡＭＬＣＤ视角特性的方法，介绍不同种类的补偿膜及其特性的表征。对各种ＬＣＤ的膜补偿设计的原理和设计上的折衷方案进行了讨论。
Viewing angle improvement with compensation films for LCD is reviewed with special emphasis on the TN AMLCD. Different types of compensation films are introduced together with the methods for their characterizations. Principles behind film compensation designs for different LCD modes are reviewed and design trade_offs discussed.
