摘要
GrADS(Grid Analysis Display System)是美国马里兰大学气象系Brian开发的气象数据分析与显示软件。GrADS提供一个全32位交互操作的气象格点数据与站点数据分析与显示环境,具有强大的气象数据分析能力、丰富的地图投影坐标以及彩色动画等功能,目前已迅速成为国内外气象数据显示的标准平台之一。本文介绍了使用GrADS气象图形系统对T639数值预报产品进行要素数据提取和绘图处理的技巧,利用GrADS强大的数据处理能力,按照自己的业务和科研需求来制作不同的图形,比如高度、温度的旬平均场、要素剖面图、各种各样的变形场等,解决了MICAPS系统不能对有特殊需求的产品提供图形显示的问题。
GrADS is meteorological data analysis and demonstration software which developed by Bri- an of the Maryland University meteorological department in USA. GRADS provided an entire 32 - bit interactive operation environment which included not only meteorological grid data but also station data analysis and demonstrating. It had powerful functions such as meteorological data analytical ability, rich projection coordinate and color animated cartoon, also was standard meteorological data displaying plat- form in the worldwild. The key element data extracting and drawing artifices handling about T639 mathe- matical forecast products had been introduced by using GRADS in this paper. We can draw something according to different needs of business and scientific research, such as ten - day mean of altitude and temperature, element profiles, kinds of deformable field, etc. The function solved the problem MICAPS system can not provide the figureg, for the special need.
