双光子光学双稳态的量子理论

摘要 提出了由三能级原子构成的非线性介质中双光子双光束光学双稳态的全量子分析,应用等效哈密顿量研究了两输出光束强度和与强度差的涨落谱.结果表明,在适当的参量取值下,强度和与强度差的涨落谱可低于发射噪声水平,且光学Stark效应对涨落谱有显著的影响. A full quantum mechanical analysis is presented for the two photon double beam optical bistability in a nonlinear medium composed of three level atoms. Using equivalent Hamiltonian, the fluctuating spectra in the sum and the difference of the intensities of the two output beams are studied. It is found that fluctuations in both intensity sum and intensity difference less than the shot noise level are possible for properly taken values of parameters. The optical Stark effect has a significant influence on the fluctuation spectra.
