活性污泥法的主要构筑物，有初次沉淀池、曝气池、二次沉淀池、污泥回流设施和供氧设施等。它们在生产运转过程中是一个相互联系、相互影响的整体。实践证明：只有通过分析各部功能和相互影响，使之相互协调和平衡，才能发挥由一系列构筑物组成的整体系统作用。其中，又以ＢＯＤ－污泥负荷为活性污泥法的中心问题。

The activated sludge process′s main buildings include the grit chamber,the aeration tank,the secondary sedimentation tank,the return sludge facility and the oxygenprovided equipment. They compose an interconnected and mutualinfluence unit during the process.lt is proved that we can cooperate in balance with each part by way of analysing every part′s function and its mutualinfluence, which can bring the function of the unit into play.And BODsludge loading is the key factor of the activated sludge process.
