摘要
详细介绍了美国在高等并行计算机系统结构领域的发展动态和ＡＳＣＩ跨世纪计划的执行情况，同时也介绍了１种典型的最新型分布式共享存储系统ＤＳＭ（ＤｉｓｔｒｉｂｕｔｅｄＳｈａｒｅｄＭｅｍｏｒｙ）－ＳＰＰ１２００／ＸＡ。
This paper introduces in detail the recent development of the American advanced parallel computer architecture and the implementation of the ASCI across-century project. At the same time,it also introduces a typical latest distribution share memory system-SPP 1200/XA.
