In this paper, the author analyses Deng Xiaopings education management idea and thinks that the main line lies in decision and policy making, leadership and the faculty of higher education and the teachers of all schools. Deng Xiaopings idea centers on the improvement of human value of life and its final aim is at the cultivation of the builders and the successors of the socialist cause. this idea is the quintessence of modern education management theory with Chinese characteristics. The theory is comprehensive and profound in promoting the reform and development of education.
