摘要
干湿度是指纹图像质量评估中一个很重要的指标.为准确地对指纹图像做出干湿判断,对质量良好、干、湿指纹的灰度均值和方差进行分析,提出了一种二次分类的指纹图像干湿度判断方法,以避免在粗分类时因均值或方差相近而造成误判.实验结果表明,该方法能准确地对指纹图像的干湿度做出判断。
The degree of dryness and wetness is an important index in fingerprint image quality estimation. In order to estimate accurately .the degree of dryness and wetness of fingerprint image, their gray means and variances of good quality, dry and wet fingerprints were analyzed, a twice classification method for estimating the degree of dryness and wetness of fingerprint image was proposed, which could avoid the false decision caused by the close gray mean or variance in the rough classification. The experiment results show that this method can make decision accurately on the degree of dryness and wetness for fingerprint image.
