当西方医学已经在反思自己的基本思考逻辑或根本发展方向时,我们却还以中医不同于西方医学而要废除中医。灯下寻物的故事引发我们的思考,难道我们看病只能用符合西方理性的医术吗?中医实际上是比把生命仅仅看作物质与能量载体的西医更高层次的生命系统的信息科学。中医是在信息层次上理解生命,理解健康和疾病的。

While people in the westem medicine field are speculating on their basic thinking logic and route of development, we are advocating the abolishment of Chinese medicine since it is different from western medicine. Our speculation is triggered by the anecdote of looking for lost objects under a streetlamp. Are we treating diseases only according to the western reason and medicine.？ Chinese medicine is in fact an information science of the biosystem which looks upon life solely as a carrier of substance and energy, and therefore much higher than western medicine. Chinese medicine understands life, health and disease at the level of information.
