主要研究了元代前期和中期对防治蝗灾所采取的具体措施，措施中包括方法、技术指导等．元代治理蝗灾的指导思想是以防为主，防重于治．规定各级地方官员必须负责防蝗治蝗工作，对于失职者要予以处罚．

There are many plagues of locusts in Chinese History,Chinese had found many methods of killing locusts,but few methods of the prevention of plagues of locusts.Only in the Yuan Dynasty,especially in the early Yuan Dynasty,practised some methods of the prevention of plagues of locusts.The officials were requsted to do their best in preventing locusts,and they should report the plagues of locusts in detail.If not,they would be punished.There was a administration net of preventing locusts in every degree of govement in the Yuan Dynasty.
