Using of Scopus Database to Propel Scientific Researches

本文介绍了目前全球规模最大的文摘数据库Scopus数据库的收录特点和功能,以"微生物组"研究主题为例,利用Scopus数据库的检索结果分析功能了解研究主题的历史发展过程,利用其保存检索式(Saved Searches)、检索通告(SearchAlerts)、作者引文通告(Author Citation Alerts)、文献被引通告(Document Citation Alerts)等个性化服务功能及时掌握研究主题的研究现状和前沿。

This article introduced the world＇s largest abstracts database Scopus, It included its traits and services functions. To ＂Human Microbiome＂ research topic as an example, using the refine results function to analyse the research subject and know the history of the development process; using these personalized services such as Saved Searches, Search Alerts, Author Citation Alerts, Document Citation Alerts, the subject research and cuing- edge research could be timely grasped.
