冀棉3536是以陆地棉和海岛棉种间杂交后代南36为母本、转基因后代材料南21为父本,杂交选育而成。该品种抗棉铃虫、高产、抗病、杂种优势强和适应性广,适宜在冀中南及黄河流域同类生态春播棉区推广种植,2008年通过河北省农作物品种审定委员会审定(审定编号:冀审棉2008004号)。

Jimian 3536 was bred by crossing Nan 36 （female, interspecific progeny of upland cotton and island cotton） with Nan 21 （male, Bt transgenic progeny） with the characteristics of bollworm resistance, high yield, diseases resistance, strong hybrid vigor and extensive adaptability, which was suitable for planting in the middle and south of Hebei and Yellow River basin with the same ecological conditions in spring, and was approved by Hebei Province in 2008.
