Taking a mal function accident as instance,the function of functional contact plate of 220kV block high frequency line protection was illustrated. The faults caused by poor contact of functional contact plate were analyzed. The matters needing attention and inspection method for the maintainers and operators in their overhaul and operation were expounded.
