高职院校学生退学的原因及预防对策

Causes of Leaving Schools of Students in Vocational Colleges and the Countermeasures

学生退学问题是当前高职教育面临的一个严肃课题。学业失败、缺乏专业兴趣与自卑心理、投入难以取得预期收益及学校办学条件和水平不尽如人意,是造成高职院校学生退学的主要原因。为了有效预防学生流失,高职院校必须努力改善办学条件,转变办学理念,加强对学生的职业生涯规划和学习指导,加大特困生帮扶力度。

The problem of students＇ leaving school in vocational colleges is a serious issue confronting higher vocational education. The main causes for the phenomenon are the academic failure, lack of professional interest, self- contempt, the low benefit compared with students＇ investment and the poor condition and low quality of vocational colleges. In order to effectively prevent the loss of students, vocational colleges must strive to improve school conditions, transform the concept of running school, enhance the guidance on students＇ study and career planning and strengthen efforts to help the very poor students.
