This paper describes the features of ductile shear zone in Caledonian granite in the Huangshi area, Ningdu, Jiangxi, highlighting the zoning and microstructural features of the ductile shear zone. A discussion is also made of the relations of the ductile shear zone with the regional tectonics and the emplacement mechanism.
