英语教学中的文化干扰与文化教学

Cultural Interference in English Teaching and Culture Teaching

外语学习实际上是文化学习,要学好外语就必须了解目的语文化,尤其要熟悉本族语与目的语之间的差异。由于不了解英汉文化的差异,学习者在外语交际中出现了许多文化错误和障碍。英语教学中的文化干扰问题是目前英语教学所面临的难题之一。文章通过实例分析英汉文化差异对英语教学的干扰,并归纳出几种不同的文化干扰的表现形式,分析了文化干扰产生的原因,探讨在英语教学中如何加强文化教学。

Learning a foreign language is actually learning its culture. If the learners want to learn the language well, they have to know well about its culture, especially about the cultural differences between the native language and the foreign language. Not knowing the cultural differences between China and western countries, the learners make lots of cultural mistakes in communication with the foreigners. Cultural interference is one of the most difficult problems in English teaching. This paper analyzes some problems about cultural interference in English teaching according to concrete instances, which is due to cultural differences between English and the reasons that lead to the cultural interference. Then it puts forward some solutions to these discusses how to reinforce cultural education in English teaching.
