On Traditional Poetry Since "May Fourth Movement"(Ⅰ)

通过对"五四"以来传统诗词曲折发展的历程及兴盛、衰微的原因探析,阐明了"五四"以来诗词兼融传统与现代的人文精神:忧国忧民、自由民主、博爱宇宙万物的终极关怀及艺术方面形成绚丽多姿的风格流派。并重点阐述了现当代诗词与古代诗歌在继承的基础上开拓创新的关系。

This paper probes into the development process of traditional poetry since May Fourth Movement and the reasons of its rise and decline, and expounds that it combines traditional and modern humanism： it is characteristic of the ultimate concern about nation and people, freedom and democracy, and universal, fraternity and of various styles of art. Furthermore, the paper focuses on the relationship between modern poetry and classical poetry： the former makes innovation on the basis of carrying on the latter.
