漳州是福建省台商投资最密集的地区,实际利用台资额在全国仅次于东莞和昆山,位居第三。它在发展台资经济上有着区位优势、交通优势、港口优势和政策优势等有利因素,但面临着东莞和昆山及周边城市(厦门和泉州)在吸引台资方面的竞争,因此,漳州要发挥地区比较优势,拓展丰富投资载体,落实"科教兴市"战略来吸引并促进台资经济的发展。

Zhangzhou is an area where Taiwan businessp ersons put the most investment in Fujian Province. The fimds to Zhanzhou are only second to Dongguan and Kunshan City. Zhangzhou boasts her location advantages, transportation advantages, seaport advantages and policy advmltages, but she also faces the threats of attracting foreign capital from Dongguan and Kunshan City and other nearby cities such as Xiamen and Quanzhou City. Therefore, Zhangzhou should give full play to her location advantages, better inveslment vehicles, realize the strategy of ＂relying on science and education to rejuvenate the city＂ and promote the Taiwan-funded economy.
