典籍英译的认知心理框架解读──基于《孙子兵法》英译的历时研究

An Interpretation of Cognitive Psychological Frame on the Translation of Chinese Classics──A Diachronic Study Based on the English Versions of The Art of War

探讨了英语译者英译中国典籍时体现出的两个关键问题:一是为什么英语译者会有选择地翻译中国典籍;二是英语译者对中国典籍的误解与误译是有意为之,还是无意为之。这两个问题关乎到文化翻译中的文化差异与翻译策略。以认知心理学的心理框架为诠释手段,从心理框架的逻辑层级入手,对上述问题进行了分析。

It deals with two crucial questions in the translation of Chinese classics into English： One is concerning the reason why English-speaking translators translate selectively and unfaithfully to the neglect of the overall survey of Chinese classics, the other is concerning the fact whether English-speaking translators misunderstand Chinese classics consciously or unconsciously. Based on Frame Theory of cognitive psychology, the author probes both questions by subjecting them to the analysis of the logic levels of frame.
