摘要
德里达和利科围绕隐喻和形而上学的关系问题进行过一场争论。德里达从解构主义的立场出发,认为形而上学语言是由抹去了来源的隐喻构成的,形而上学必定随着隐喻的自我毁灭而毁灭。利科则从解释学的立场出发,维护哲学话语相对于诗歌话语的独立性,并根据他关于隐喻中的语义更新的理论批评德里达的观点。这场关于隐喻的争论不仅反映了德里达和利科对哲学和语言关系问题的共同兴趣,也显示出两人哲学思想的根本分歧。
Between Derrida and Ricoeur, there was a debate on the relation between metaphor and metaphysics. From his deconstructivist standpoint, DeiTida argued that the metaphysical language consists of metaphors of which the origin has been erased. Metaphysics will be destroyed with the self-destruction of the metaphor. Yet Ricoeur tried to defend, according to his hermeneutic standpoint, the independence of the philosophical language from the poetic language. He criticized the Derridean argument with his theory on the semantic innovation of metaphor. This debate reveals not only the common interest that both philosophers focus on the relation between language and philosophy, but also the fundamental difference between them.
