意象图调查是环境评价的一种重要方法,它使设计者了解使用者对已建成环境的感受、认知及评价,架起了设计者与使用者之间信息沟通的桥梁,并为相关设计提供参考建议。通过对西安交通大学校园环境意象图的调查,探讨该方法在大学校园这一特定环境中的应用,通过对校园环境的认知程度、识别特征、道路交通、景观环境评价、理想校园环境的希望等方面的调研,分析影响环境意象的各种因素,为校园环境设计及改造提供有价值的建议。

As an important means of environment appraisal, the cognitive map investigation sets up a bridge between designers and users, and makes designers aware of the users＇ feelings, cognition and appraisal of the environment, which can provide references and suggestions for the designs alike. By using the cognitive map investigation on the campus of Xi＇an JiaoTong University, the paper discusses the application of investigation and analyzes all kinds of environmental factors, such as the cognitive degree, the marked features, the campus traffic, the landscape context appraisal, the ideal campus context and so on, which may influence campus cognitive map, thus giving valuable advise to the campus environment construction
