AIDS and Heart Damage

自从1981年世界上首例获得性免疫缺陷综合征(艾滋病)报道以来,艾滋病开始在全球范围大流行。作为一种致命性疾病,艾滋病病人全身多器官均受累及,病理学研究提示50％人类免疫缺陷病毒阳性病人有心脏异常,心包、心肌和心内膜等均可发生病变,超声心动图表现异常,可导致肺动脉高压、扩张性心肌病等的发生。HIV-1在心脏病变中的作用如何,目前尚不是十分明确。本文试从HIV的生物学和病理学出发,研究一系列的心脏并发症,为艾滋病的临床诊断和治疗提供客观证据。

Ever since the first case was reportedin 1981, AIDS has been spread widely all over theworld. As a mortal disease, AIDS can cause mostorgans' damage of the patients. Pathological studiesshowed that ahout 50% of the HIV - positive patientshad heart damage, pericardium, myocardium and en-docardium all could be involved. HIV - 1 can causemany clinical syndrome, such as pulmonary hypertension,dilated heart disease, etc., but its essential principle isstill unknown. This essay discussed heart complications ofAIDS, from biological and pathological aspects of HIV,and managed to do some help for AIDS's clinical diagno-sis and treatment.
