Unequal Retransmission Method Based on Video Proxy Transmission Structure

针对无线视频传输应用,提出了一种基于视频代理的不对等重传方法。该方法考虑了GoP中视频帧的不均等重要性和无线信道的时变突发错误特性,尝试将突发错误转移至相对不重要的视频帧中。视频代理感知信道条件的变化,从而自适应地为不同视频帧分配不同的重传策略。实验结果证明了该方法的有效性。

For wireless video transmission application, an unequal retranmission scheme based on video proxy is proposed in this paper. According to unequal importance of different video frame in a GoP and temperal-variant burst error of wireless channel, the method provides unequal retransmission to adaptively overcome the shortcoming of narrow-bandwidth and error prone wireless channel. Experimental results demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed method.
