On the concept of scientific development and Chinese socialistic civil society

科学发展观是我们党关于经济社会发展的重大战略思想和指导方针,对中国特色社会主义市民社会的构建具有根本的指导意义。物质文明(主要以经济发展来表征)、政治文明、精神文明、生态文明与和谐社会"五位一体"的基本内容在实质上与社会主义市民社会是内在统一的。从科学发展观的视野中去研究社会主义市民社会,能更深刻地明确其与科学发展观之间的密切联系,体会构建社会主义市民社会的时代意义。

As a major strategic thought and guideline about our Party＇s economic and social development,the concept of scientific development is of fundamental guiding significance for the construction of socialistic civil society with Chinese characteristics. The basic contents of the ＂five-piece unity＂, namely, material civilization （mainly represented by economic development）, political civilization, spiritual civilization,ecological civilization and a harmonious society,accord,in essence,with the inherent unity of the socialistic society. A study on such society from the perspective of the concept of scientific development provides a more profound connection between the two,embodying the epochal meaning of constructing a socialistic civil society.
