Study on Regulation of Rural Population Centres and Sustainable Development in Zhang Jiagang City

张家港市农村居民点占地面积大、土地利用效率不高、分散而且规模小等特点，不适应全市经济和社会持续发展的要求，需要从农村居民点建设、提高城镇人口比重等途径，大力加以调整。

The rural population centres in Zhang Jiagang city are characteristics of the occupation of bigger area but lower utility, dispersion and being smaller in size which doesnot meet the requirements of economic and social sustainable development in the region.Thus it is necessary to make adjustments by construction and planning of rural population centres and arising the percentage of urbanized population so as to construct a new morden countryside.
