摘要 武汉环城森林生态工程项目是我市有史以来投资最大、里程最长、范围最广的绿色通道环境建设工程。据专家测算,这一绿色通道每年可以吸收二氧化碳1.2万t、粉尘20万t,释放氧气57万t。环城森林生态工程对有效改善我市空气质量和降低中心城区"热岛效应"发挥了不可替代的重要作用。 The forest ecological project around the city of Wuhan is the most investment, the longest mileage, the most extensive scale of enviromental construction of green channel project since the beginning of history in the city. It is estimated by experts that the green channel project can absorb 12,000 tons of carbon dioxide, 200,000 tons of dust and release 570,000 tons of oxygen every year. The forest ecological project around city will play an irreplaceable role to improve air quality effectively and reduce the "Heat island effect" in the centre of the city.
