The Political Game around the National Language of Nigeria

尼日利亚的语言分割状况严重,语言问题非常复杂,其中国语问题尤其突出,已经超越了语言的范畴,成为敏感的政治问题。本文从尼日利亚本土语言状况、英语在尼日利亚的特殊地位以及尼日利亚在国语道路上的探索三方面进行分析探讨,试图找出一条有利于尼日利亚民族文化一体化的国语道路。

Language plays a key role in the nation-state structure.Nigeria has a diversity of indigenous languages,hence the national language problem has generated considerable interest and heated debate,which goes beyond the language and becomes a political issue.This article is trying to figure out a new language path for the cultural integration in Nigeria from thrcc aspects:the indigenous languages situation in Nigeria,the special position of English in Nigcria and the search for the national language.
