Personal urbanism and urban development

当代中国正处于城市社会来临的前期,物质层面的城市化迅猛发展,然而数亿新城市人在其个人城市性的发展上相对滞后的严峻问题值得思考。对于城市性的研究多指城市的城市性,但本文则指出个人的城市性是理解这个概念的重要视角;认为对个人城市性的研究方法也可以借鉴个人现代性的研究方法,并基于此对如何适应城市发展的当代背景去提升个人的城市性进行了一些尝试性思考。

China now is in the early stage of urban society and the physical urbanization is in a rapid development, but the lag of hundreds of millions of citizens＇ urbanism remains a serious problem. The article proposes that the ancient research of urbanism is the research of urbanism of cities, there is a lack of theoretic study to personal urbanism, The article offers several research methods on the study of personal urbanism. The author proposes some thoughts, which were based on these methods, about the promotion of personal urbanism.
