陈衍、何振岱福州文儒坊恩怨述略

A Brief Account of the Gratitude and Resentment between CHEN Yan and HE Zhen-dai in Wenrufang,Fuzhou

陈衍与何振岱相见恨晚、相邻往还、偕游山水、结社吟咏、里居修志,两人志同道合,结下友谊;后失和断交,其原因颇为复杂,或将成历史谜团。

CHEN Yan and HE Zhen-dai felt sorry not to have met each other sooner upon their first meeting, they then lived next to each other and paid mutual visits frequently, went sightseeing together, started association to compose and recite poems, lived in seclusion to culture their will etc.. Their common likings and life goals resulted in a deep friendship. But they broke up for some disagreements later in their life time. Reasons for this were complicate and may remain a historic mystery.
