Development of Modern Lacquer Painting

现代漆画脱胎于传统漆器,由为满足人的实用性需求的工艺美术领域走向满足人类精神需要的纯绘画艺术殿堂,经历了一个漫长的历史发展过程。中国人制作漆器的历史久远,而以独立画面出现的漆画始创于20世纪30、40年代,确立于20世纪80年代,兴盛于21世纪。通过对现代漆画历史演进的归纳与分析,探讨现代漆画独立的自主性概念,思考现代漆画创作的方向。

Modem lacquer painting is born from traditional lacquer work. It is a long histroy for this kind of art to evolve from the industrial arts, which aims at meeting people＇s practical needs, to pure painting which mainly catering for human＇s spiritual demands. Ever since the antieent time, Chinese people began to make lacquers, however, it was not until 1930s did lacquer painting, as in the form of independent image, came into being. It established its fame in the 1980s, and thrived in the 21 century. This article analyzes the history and developing process of this particular kind of art, and gives a profound thinking on its future.
