摘要
采用不同直径的砂粒做屏障检测尖唇散白蚁的穿越能力。结果表明，直径1．00～3．50mm的砂粒层对尖唇散白蚁均有阻隔作用，其中以直径1．00～2．50mm的砂粒层对尖唇散白蚁阻隔作用最强。野外试验1．5～7个月表明，用直径1．00～2．50mm的砂粒做成10cm厚的防护层能完全阻隔尖唇散白蚁穿越为害。
Populations of Reticulitermes aculabialis Tsai et Hwang were tested both in laboratory and in the field for the abilityto penetrate barriers of sand particles. Barriers of sand particles in sizes 1.00～3. 50mm were least penetrated by R. aculabialis, 1.00～2. 50mm sand particles were the mot effective ones to resist the penetration by R. aculabialis. Field population test for 1. 5～7mo. indicated that 10cm-thick barriers of 1.00～2. 50mm sand pallicles in diameter could effectively prevent penetration by R. aculabialis.
