On Huang's Viewpoints about the Meiji Reform of Japan from the Perspective of The History of Japan

黄遵宪是近代中国著名的外交家之一,他将驻日期间的所见所闻所思所感笔而书成《日本国志》,借以抒发他的改革理念。从黄遵宪写作《日本国志》的背景、特点和影响,结合政治、经济、文化、军事等史实可以揭示出该书及作者真实的明治维新观。

Huang Zhunxian was one of the famous diplomats in modem China . He wrote the History of Japan according to what he had seen and heard and thought in Japan so as to express his thoughts of reform. This article analyses the background and the characteristics and the influence of the writing of the book by Huang and reveals the real viewpoints about the Meiji Reform of Japan expressed by both the book and its author from the different perspectives such as politics, economy, culture and military, which played an important part in the enlightment and the promotion on the politic reform of China.
