对奈达的功能对等理论的质疑的辨析

奈达的功能对等理论在80年代刚引进中国时受到了翻译界的极高推崇,到了20世纪末又受到诸多批判。本文分析了对奈达功能对等理论的主要质疑,并对其进行逐一辨析,最后得出结论:功能对等理论并没有过时,它对翻译实践还是很有指导意义的。

In 1980s, Eugene Nida＇s functional equivalence theory was introduced into China for the first time and was worshiped by Chinese scholars in the translation field; while by the end of the 20^th century, it was severely criticized. This paper analyzed respectively the main questions towards Nida＇s functional equivalence theory and finally drew a conclusion： Nida＇s functional equivalence theory was not out of date in that it can still guide translation practice.
