现有的数据库管理系统五花八门,功能都很强大,但都要在特定的环境下运行,但Derby数据库不同,Derby引擎可以嵌入在应用程序里。当工作在嵌入式访问模式,应用程序访问数据库是直接和专有的。需要多用户访问数据库时,Derby网络访问模式能提供一个有效的解决方案。
The existing variety of database management system, functionality is very powerful, but must be run under a specific environment. Derby can be embedded in application program. When working in the embedded access mode, the Application access the database directly and exclusively. If need for multi-user access to the database, Derby network access mode can provide an effective solution.
