Abstract The Asian development models have been queried because of the financial crisis in southeast Asia.The crisis also enlighten us as follows:urban planning should prevent the false prosperity by the real estate to ensure the healthy development of cities;urbanization should avoid the side effects of “catching up'by economic structure to prevent the over increasing of population in large cities;the intervention function by urban planning should be strengthening,and the role of government should be clarified.The implementation should follows the laws to promote the integration of the urban development.
