Study on Traditional Public Spaces Arrangement in Europe and Asia Cities

通过对传统欧洲与亚洲城市公共空间的布局方式进行比较研究，旨在发掘存在于思想文化意识与城市生活方式层面上对城市布局、公共空间形成产生影响的因素，并探讨在当代条件下应用于城市设计的可能性。

Through the comparison between the traditional arrangement of public spaces in European cities and that in Asia cities, this article gives some factors which have influence on the arrangement and forming of public spaces in cities, on layers of culture and social ideology and city life style, and probes the possibility of some applications on urban design and construction under the present age.
