On "Ping′an Street" Redevelopment from the Perspective of Urban Planning

试从城市规划角度对北京新近开工的“平安大街”改造工程进行研究，探讨北京旧城保护与发展面临的几个突出的深层次问题，并相应地提出一些建议。

This paper is research on 'Ping′an Street' Redevelopment Project which Beijing Municipal Government has just started recently. From the perspective of city planning, the authors discuss several significant and deep problems facing the conservation and redevelopment of Beijing, and correspondingly give some suggestions.
