To improve the capability and level of equipment management in the institutes for drug control, the issues of equipment management in the institutes were reviewed and discussed based on the author＇s related experience. The strategies of awareness - raising, team - building, management strengthening and modern means employing were suggested to resolve the management problems and improve the administration capability, which could provide ideas for the equipment management in the institutes for drug control.
