Discussion on Modern Spouse Virtues

现代夫妻美德在继承和保留传统夫妻美德的同时,又突破了传统义务婚姻中一贯体现的双方在经济上相互抚养,伦理道德上相互依附,生理上相互满足,共同养老育幼的低质量,高稳定的婚姻状态,提倡以夫妻和睦、平等、忠诚、相敬、相养、相继为旨向的新型夫妻关系,是贯彻《公民道德建设实施纲要》,增强夫妻美德建设和社会主义道德建设,实践以德治国,促进社会文明进步的关键和标志。

Modem spouse virtues inherit and keep the positive ones of the traditional virtues while casting off the low - quality but high - stability state of the traditional marriage which includes the economic support, ethical and moral reliance, physiological satisfaction between husband and wife and the duty of maintenance of the old and young. And the modem spouse virtues implement the Civic Virtue Construction Implementation Program and also advocate a new relationship between husband and wife including harmony, equality, faithfulness, respect, fanancial support and mutual inheritage, and thus strenghten the spouse virtue construction and socialistic moral construction, and practise the polocy of administering country by morality to improve the social civilization in the end.
