Television teaching has many advantages, such as large amount of information, direct linguistic environment and strong interaction,which can make students experience the real language in different contexts, provide students with standard lively language input ,cultivate student＇s interests and improve students＇ listening competence. The paper discusses the concrete application of Russian television teaching based on the advantages of television teaching.
