The Miao＇s belief in fanggu is one of the cultural phenomenons that have been affecting the life of the Miao area for a long time. Fanggu is a part of the Miao＇s witchcraft cultural insanity, the women who are framed to practice fanggu are in fact some imaginary enemies made by the persons in the circle of the Miaos＇ witchcraft, taking use of the values and norms of the Miao＇s witchcraft culture. In the content, the life of a Miao witch is described, from the perspective of cultural anthropology and using the Emie and Erie analysis method, to reveal the phenomenon of the special witchcraft fanggu.
