How to Improve the Public's Participation in Amending the Country’s Constitution

修宪的民主原则要求公众广泛而有效地参与修宪实践。当前,我国修宪实践中存在着公众参与的途径与方式较少及参与深度不够等缺陷。因此,有必要为公众参与修宪实践营造良好的政治参与文化、公开修宪信息、建立和完善相关制度及搭建"阳光平台"等,以提高公众参与的质量。

According to the principle of democracy, the public should actively participate in amending the Constitution. But currently, there are less ways for them to take part in the activities and their participation showtages in the country. So it is necessary to develop a participation culture, open information on Constitution amendment, establish and improve systems concerned and set up a ＂sunlight platform＂ so as to perfect the public＇s participation.
