This paper discusses the concept of core competitiveness and social science library core competitiveness, and analyzes in detail the elements of structuring social science library core competitiveness. And the composition and mechanism of these elements have been deeply analyzed also. On this basis, this paper puts forward feasible view for constructing the core competitiveness of social science library.
