Analysis of constraints for Licorice use and is management strategy

甘草是我国使用量最大的中药材之一,在制药、食品、化妆品等方面也有广泛的应用,植株有防风固沙的作用,对于我国西北地区有重要的生态意义;采用文献回顾的方法,对于甘草现况和市场甘草供需矛盾进行简要分析;对面临的困境提出切合当前需要的建议,以缓解甘草资源濒临灭绝的状况,保障中药产业的健康发展。

This paper illustrated at endangered status facing licorice resource,by stating the changes in licorice in the last 25 years base on literature review.The relative change in the demand and supply of licorice market was also discussed and we then employed sustainable development theory made suggestion of appropriate methods to alleviate the pressures on endangered licorice resource.We found 3 factors that affect the demand and supply at discussing licorice market.According these factors,we suggested：first,limited collecting licorice,when the licorice resource was at endangered status;second,encouraged artificial cultivation licorice;third,improved technology of licorice processing.
