《阿丽思漫游奇境记》两个中文译本的比较——基于归化和异化的分析视角

A Comparison of two Chinese versions of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland:The Perspective of Domestication and Foreignization

借助归化和异化的分析视角,比较了《阿丽思漫游奇境记》的两个中文译本,从同韵词翻译、打油诗翻译、双关语翻译三个方面分析了归化处理方式的优势,从不同地域文化之间的翻译、歌词翻译两个方面分析了异化处理方式的优势。在源语和译入语之间存在对应关系,可以相互转化的情况,应该采取归化的翻译方法;而当源语和译入语之间没有对应的情况,属于源语文化所特有的事物是,较宜采取异化的翻译方法。

From the perspective of domestication and foreignization, this paper compares two Chinese versions of Alice＇s Adventures in Wonderland to discuss the application scope of these two translation methods, which analyses the advantage of domestication from the aspects of crambo＇s translation, doggerel＇s translation as well as pun＇s translation and the advantage of foreignization from the angles translation between various cultures and translation of lyrics. This paper argues that two methods should be utilized together to some extent： if the target language has corresponding phrase of source language, domestication should be used to transfer the phrase; if the target language has no corresponding phrase of source language, foreignization ought to be adopted. These two methods embody the consideration of different cultures, which require different criteria to domestication and foreignization.
