摘要
Gudykunst提出的焦虑/不确定性协调(AUM)理论对跨文化交际有效性的研究具有里程碑的作用。本文从解剖AUM理论的入手,论证了跨文化交际与课堂教学在本质上的相同属性,并以AUM理论为指导,对课堂教学做了调查,分析了问题,挖掘了原因,提出了对策。这是跨文化交际学与外语教学结合的初步尝试。
The theory of Anxiety and Uncertainty Management( short for AUM), by Gudykunst functioned as a milestone to the study of effectiveness of intercultural communication. With illustration of AUM and its relationships in classroom teaching,this paper, from the perspective of intercultural communication, analyzes the data collected from an investigation. Problems and their causes are found out and related strategies are put forward. The author argues that it is beneficial to guide teaching by AUM,and teaching experiments can enrich the theory. This is a preliminary attempt to combine intercultural communication with foreign language teaching.
