This writer analyzes the causes of several collision accidents of ships sailing on Jiangsu section in Yangtse River and probes into the importance of ships in navigation abiding by the relevant rules and regulations in＂The Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Inland Waters of PRC＂ and＂ Regulations on the Ship＇s Route System in Jiangsu Section of Yangtze River＂ respectively.
